The last time I saw you, I was with Carl Rueckl and we had gone to see you sing some place in Reno.I think that Carl and I were about 21. He was temporarily broken up with Paula and I was his main squeeze for about 2 seconds....You and Carl were pretty good friends then. You were the guest conductor also that year when Perry Jones took a trip for the choir and you tried to get all of us to scat sing! What a disaster! I can remember you laughing at us. Those were the days. I said when so you think you can dance came on " Is there more than one Cami Thompson?' And it turns out -There's not. Good for you! Take care

Back in 1990, my co-worker at Harrah's took me to see you perform at a little jazz club on Virginia St. (The Great Escape was the name of the place at the time, I think.) You were and still are an amazing performer. You sat at our table and spoke with us in between sets, and I was so impressed with your wit and fun personality. I can't wait to hear you sing "live" again. You're incredible.

Hi Cami- saw you years ago at the Big Bear Jazz Fest. You only had one CD out at the time, we bought it (you signed it!) and we adore it! Just about worn it out and finally decided we needed more!! Happy to see you are still using that gorgeous voice! Check out Catz In The Hatz sometime if you are looking for some different jazz. I think you'll like them.
