" Thompson's finger-snapping flights of scat are as cliff-hanging as her ballads are touching."
Jack Neal - Reno Gazette Journal (Oct 6, 1997) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We've added some unreleased live concert tracks from some concerts Cami did over the last few years. The audio guys at Harrrah's Reno Showroom were wonderful to record a great Holiday show, and we just wanted to share some of the "magic" and spirit made that night. Cami performed all of these songs during her recent Holiday concerts, so if you missed her, you can now listen to these tracks here.... full band, full choir, background singers... THE WORKS! Cami's favorite audio-man Mark Simon recorded her with her trio at the Sands Poolside Concert Series in 2004 - great stuff!

"Thompson sings with the clarity of a Barbara Cook, the range and control of a Cleo Laine, and the emotional impact of a Lena Horne. There's no denying the sincerity of Thompson's matchless articulation and the depth of her seamless shifts of mood in all she sings." (Jack Neal, RGJ)
Jazz, swing, big band, blues, ballads - if this is what you like, then you're gonna love this singer! Make a cool drink, sit back, click a song title, and get ready to be entertained. Reknowned jazz vocalist Cami Thompson calls San Francisco home, but the world is her stage. From festivals in Europe to concerts throughout the western US, Cami continues to amaze audiences with her 4-octave voice of great beauty, control and passion, her zany wit and her humorous interaction with her listeners. So come on in! Listen to some music clips, peek at some pictures, read a few stories, write her a note about a concert or gig you were at, or tell us about a place you'd like Cami to play.
Need a band? "Cami & The Cosmopolitans" are ready to play for you, bringing you the swinging sounds of the 30's, 40's and 50's with a sharp-dressed 7-piece band. And Cami's 18-piece big band is waiting in the wings to fill your night with dancing and romancing.
